The nave
Below the facet on the northern wall there is a frieze portraying a lamb and an anchor ( each in a rhombus ), and a lily with fish ( in a circle ) - all surrounded by plant twigs. Below the frieze there is a painting titled "The Eight Benedictions".
On the southern wall, just below the facet, there is a frieze with the following symbols: a host, the Eye of Providence, and the Passion of Christ. There are two paintings further down: "Christ meeting His Mother" closer to the rainbow, and "The Virgin with Child meets the Polish people" closer to the choir. In the latter the artist shows four classes of people: the clergy, nobility, peasants, and workers paying tribute to the Holy Virgin.
In 1974 a conservation officer named Zofia Stawowiak, MA, together with her team, worked on the conservation of the polychrome.
In years 1999 - 2000 the interior of the church again underwent conservation and re-arrangement by conservationists Maria Augustyńska, Jakub Gujda and Halina Wasyl. The team was supervised by Krystyna Sokół-Gujda, MA.
