The northern wall of the presbytery is decorated with the portraits of the four Evangelists in painted frames. The attributes of each Evangelist - a lion, an angel, an eagle and an ox - can be found below the portraits. Additionally, a painted scene titled "Michelangelo fighting the dragon" is situated between the windows on the southern wall . The presbytery facet is decorated with motifs of acanthus leaves.
